Tim Berners-Lee's parents both worked on the first commercially-built computer, the Ferranti Mark 1, this entised interest in young Timothy at an early age.
Berners-Lee got his A levels at Emanuel School.
He then attended and graduated from Oxford University with a first-class degree in physics.
