Career

Time Berners-Lee is computer scientist and physicist at CERN, the European Particle Physics Laboratory. Here he created the World Wide Web and subsequently created the World Wide Consortium.

After graduation, he was employed at a printing firm in Plessey, Poole. In 1980, he was employed as an independant contractor at CERN, their he implemented ideas of making a project using hypertext, thus the internet.

At Cern, they are currently working on a particle accelerator studying Higgs Boson, a particle theorized and proven but not observed.
